Thanksgiving Live

IT WAS A SUCCESS!!! Our dinner turned out. We can pretty much call my sister-in-law, well let's name names, MISTI a little fibber because she said she was going to post live meaning constantly posting all day so we could "kind of" spend Thanksgiving together. I know we are nerds, but we don't need anyone telling us that we already know. Anyway, I have totally done my part and she has not even posted once. SLACKER.. Well, I think my family is eating in 2 hours so this is what you have to look forward to. My mom's Thanksgiving meal is way way better, but it kind of, sort of tasted like hers.

I know that just about every picture she is in this jumper, but I promise I do hold her often too!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I feel weird posting all these pictures of the house, but all my family is together today and wanted to see pictures. Actually, I believe my parents' are waiting at the computer until I click the publish post button. Anyway, we are really grateful today for all of our many blessings. Spence and I are making our first turkey dinner and are excited to eat soon. One of greatest blessings is our family and WE MISS ALL OF YOU!!!! We hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. We are also grateful for all of our friends! Oh, boy if we start mentioning all that we are grateful for this post would defiantly be the longest post in America, so I will just say we are so grateful for many blessings we have and enjoy every day of our lives.

Avery was there. She was alseep until we were about to leave so she stayed in the car.

What a scary place to let Kennedy run around, but she loves going to the house. She walks through and tells us where everything is.

Shark

I got Avery out of the bath this morning and after combing her hair Kennedy said, "SHARK!" and played with Avery's hair. Isn't Avery is spitting image of Spencer?

Avery's Eating Rice

Avery is now eating rice. I cannot believe she is old enough to eat it, but she is defiantly ready. She intently watches us eat. I feel so bad she can only eat boring rice. To be honest it was hard for me to start feeding her rice because she has reached another milestone and it goes by way too fast so I held off until I had to. Kennedy loves to help us feed Avery, which usually means by the time I look down to put more food on the spoon she is on top of the highchair table. She is honestly the best little climber. Avery thinks Kennedy is the funniest person alive. It is really cute to see them play and talk together.

House Update

Things are moving along. We met another neighbor and he seemed nice.

Go Utes

We went to a Utah/Byu football party. It was a lot of fun especially because UTAH WON!!! We are so happy about that and are excited to go to a bcs game. I told Kennedy we were going to a football party and she yelled, "Go Utah, Pappa's Utes." I was so proud. I did not even have to tell her to cheer for Utah she just knows truth when she hears it and remembers it. Avery is the one that sat and actually watched the game while Kennedy played with friends and tunned in sometimes. Oh, I was also proud of Spencer who made such a great choice to go RED!!!!

Getting Big

Aren't they getting big? I cannot believe how much they have both grown since we have moved to Saint Louis. I feel bad that family back home can't see it in person. We love and miss all of you! Kennedy still says all your names and talks about you lots.

Beautiful and Sweet

She is Megan and Cody's FIFTH GIRL. Trouble is on the way for Cody especially when teenage years hit. All of their girls are amazing and beautiful and we are blessed to have another.

Hayden Arrived

My Sister had her baby today. I am waiting for pictures, but I had to announce it. Baby and Mom are doing great. I cannot wait to meet her.

New Hat

Kennedy had special time with Spencer and came back with this cute hat. She wears it often and even lets Avery wear it. The top picture was just thrown in because it's cute and because Kennedy told me to take a picture of her and her two babies. Kennedy loves her baby doll just as much as she does Avery.

I know this picture is boring, but it is progress.

As you can tell through these pictures Kennedy is starting to have a say with what she wants to wear. She is very exact and persistent about getting her way.

It's getting to be Winter; which means more indoor play so Kennedy and I made a slide with the air mattress. She does it over and over.

High School Days

My mom and Dad were high school Sweethearts. I have been told that my dad was Mr. Popular and the captain of every sports team. My mom on the other hand was a shy book worm that always got good grades. I imagine this is what their high school days were like.

House Update

We drove out to the house tonight, but I guess we got there too late to take good pictures. We will take more later. The foundation was poured this week so just as we predicted a slow process, but we are excited. Kennedy is still all about wearing her princess dress and it was too cold for Avery to get out and look. I really love Spencer's smile in this picture.

Hurray for Gas

I just paid $1.96 for gas. I am so happy about that!

Sisters

I was looking through my pictures and noticed that these three pictures were the same, but taken on different days. Kennedy and Avery love to lay together, cuddle is what Kennedy would call it. I thought it was cute so I decided to share it with you. The simple things in life are often the greatest moments and most cherished memories.

Playdate with Barney

Kennedy was so excited to hug Barney and then we finally get to him and she was scared. Sound Familiar?

However, she did give him five before we left.

You would not believe how long the line was to see him. Honestly the length of the mall. We got there early so we didn't have to wait very long.

They gave all the kids backstage passes to go play with Barney. Kennedy kept saying she was going to Barney's house.
